Not a great design
"I wouldn't recommend this if you wear rx glasses. You'll need to take your glasses on and off to pull this PFD over your head which puts you at risk of losing or breaking your glasses. I wore this for a 2 week race and when wearing a tether the zippers of the PFD were always opening up. I had to rezip it pretty much after every shift. It was a hassle. I am looking for a better option for future offshore races."

Awesome PFD!
"Just got back from the Caribbean and I was very happy. I found it to be way more comfortable than the older traditional style. It will definitely be coming on your next delivery from South Africa to Brazil."

Easy repacking
"I just did my hands on Offshore Safety at Sea training and the vest worked great. Lots of flotation and help me in a good position. I was most impressed with how easy it was to rearm and pack. Makes annual inspection a lot less daunting when it goes back together that easily!"

Comfy and secure fit.
"Clearly not intended for freshwater boating or musky fishing, but when I was getting my new boat I wanted one of Mustang's hydrostatic PFDs, just in case something were to go wrong out on the water. I had it down to this one or the elite 28, as I don't like the bulk/fit of the regular HIT PFDs, and thought this would keep that extra weight/bulk off of the back of my neck (the regular HIT PFDs are more comfortable just sitting/riding around in the boat, but when casting and doing figure 8's for a ten hour tournament, it get's old quick and is taken off pretty much as soon as we stop the motor). The elite was sold out, so that made my decision easy and I bought two EP38's right away, and have used them nearly every weekend since, and I am very pleased with my decision and purchase. I'm a big guy (6'5" 285 lbs) and it fits me and my 5'4 wife well. I really appreciate the slim fit/lack of bulk, and feel better being comfortable enough to keep it on throughout the day. Would definitely recommend to anyone."

Low Profile for Life... Mustang EP38
"Love my EP38. Even over my Meris gear with layers beneath, the EP38 was there and out of the way. The low profile design moved with me as part of my sailing system. While I moved around the boat, even in tighter space situations, the low profile design stayed out of the way. Exactly what you want when moving like a Mustang aboard."

Love The EP 38
"I love this PFD! Its low profile and reminds me of wearing a plate carrier. Makes it easy to move around because its out of the way. Very minimal limitations on range of motion. The hole for your head is a bit tight and i wish there was a beacon and knife attachment panel near the shoulder straps. It wad a lot more expensive than other models, but would buy again. Someone mentioned the cool factor. I have had people comment on it and some people think im wearing a plate carrier (which Mustang makes with a PDF)."

Would use it everyday
"Great comfort, easy to use and liberty of movement. Note that the hole for the head is a tight fit but once on it’s perfect. It probably floats haven’t tried that part yet."

Badass
"I love this vest. It's so sleek and spread out so the weight is even and I can work all the lines and grind without my PFD getting in the way. It's offshore race-ready when I need it. Plus, it looks pretty badass!"
