Fit is weird, love the knee pads. Needs a redesig

"Small in the chest/shoulders and the velcro should straps grabs every sweater I wear underneath. I'm 6'2 and ordered a Lg. Height is fine, legs are really baggy, and chest is too tight. Just an odd shape. Really durable and love the knee pads, just the chest fit is off and that velcro connection is too wide. Not sure why they didnt do long skinny velcro rather than short wide velcro. . . edges catch everything."

"Good but weird shaping. No hanging hook which is a pain"

As expected!

"This is exactly what I needed for cold wet days on the sailboat. I ordered size medium for me and it fits perfectly with free space for multi layering. I personally don’t think you can go wrong with any Mustang Survival gear."

Clever

"Meris Jacket 2025 model The hood is like a getaway cabin with a clear view of the snowy mountains around you. You are warm, toasty and dry while the blizzard around you unloads and passes. It's a very well thought-out piece of equipment. The bungee cords for pulling down on the hood didn't appear to do much but this could be operator error. Maybe build them out of something less stretchy. I ordered a Medium, I'm 6'1, 170lbs. The jacket fits - It's not baggy, it's not tight either. I ordered the Blue color since I sail in a location with extreme UV year round and 20kts on the beam. Blue is supposed to tolerate UV better than most colors. Meris Bibs (pre 2025 model) The knee pads are pretty cool. I had a pair of Musto Bibs, and these knee pads are better on the Meris. They fit your knee cap. I ordered a medium, and have the velcro shoulder strap setting on the last setting. They fit around the waist and legs with ample room for motion, but they are a hair short on the shoulders, but not enough to return them. I'm guessing the shoulder straps will stretch with time and I'll start putting them on the lower setting. I have not tested water-proofness or longevity for these two items. The Achilles heel could be the full length water proof zippers, but time will tell. I'll report back in 3000nm."

Best fitting bibs

"The Meris bibs are low bulk in the shoulders and chest which makes them fit very nicely while on the water. The legs can be fit tight or loose with the various velcro straps, but the best part are the knee pads. Saved my day many times! Mustang nailed with these for any level of sailing - dinghy, sport boat, offshore. Never going back to any others. I don't like extra bulk so I ordered the Small and they fit me perfectly, though with not a ton of room for big layers underneath. I'm 180cm, 81kgs."
