Warm and love the hood!

"This jacket is underrated! The sleeves are tighter than most jackets but I understand when you think of layering and having to wear more over it. The hood is INCREDIBLE. It has an elastic rim to hold the hood on and air tight when you are moving on the water or if you have some wind. Great for 45-65 F. degree weather. I appreciate the venting material for the armpit area."

Comfortable and versatile

"Purchased this for my husband for layering when he's racing his sailboat, or for just running errands around the city. Versatile, and an excellent purchase! Thank you Mustang!"

I would select a Large

"I would select a Large in exchange if I knew the fit in advance."

Perfect west coast Jacket

"Highly functional. Perfect waterproof layering piece. Great for those windy rainy days. It’s light weight some don’t count on insulating but it keep the elements out!"

Fantastic Pieces of Clothing

"I have been wearing this lately while fishing on the boat with Temperatures averaging 2C or 35.6 F and I am very warm. One of the better products I have purchased for sure."

Excellent piece

"I ordered the men’s small after realizing the women’s small just didn’t fit in several places. Much prefer the hip/butt length of the men’s Torrens. It is roomy but not boxy or flapping at any part. I can wear it as an outer layer and even grab it to go over my PFD in a hurry without any part of it needing adjustment. The bright yellow is a preference over drab colours that may not be seen well on the water (or any inclement weather). Love the soft cuff with the thumb loops. They don’t bite into the hand when I’m at full reach. The soft fleece is just cozy enough and not oppressively overheating. Hood fits perfectly on bare head, beanie or ball cap. Again, the stretchy part is stretchy enough to be comfortable without digging into my head."

Fits like a glove but is a jacket

"Bought this for my 'better' half and he is not taking off anymore. He uses it for everything - outdoor, on the water, camping, evening when it is cold. Loves that it is not black but bright."

Really warm and comfy, but arms and shoulders are too tight

"I love everything about the jacket except that the arms and shoulders are tight compared to the body (and I do have the correct size). The body of the jacket has a regular fit, like a proper mid/outer layer, while the arms and shoulders are much more fitted, like a base layer. I have a more-or-less average body type, and I've never had a jacket that felt like this, so I know it's the jacket, not me. Because of this, there's less room for layering but only in the arms. It's weird. It's not that bad and I've gotten used to it, it was just a bit confusing and disappointing because I was super excited to love this jacket."

Performs Well

"Kayaking in the North Atlantic, this product worked very well as a mid layer under my paddle jacket. Breathable yet warm with room to move."

fun lover

"Wow. This is the best of all worlds. It provides an excellent mid layer. Keeps you warm when it needs to and allows moisture to escape when it asked to. This layer is so forgiving. The Torrens hood provides excellent thermo- protection and does not obstruct peripheral vision. I wear this canoeing in the fall and back country skiing in the winter."
